01 Application overview

Complex mechanics without complex operation.

Radonix combines multi-axis motion, X4 synchronous motor-channel expansion and the BangleMaster workflow for specialised jewelry and jewellery production machines.

01

Dynamic axis groups

Configure X, Y, Z and C groups around the actual number of heads and rotary stations without rewriting machine macros.

02

Synchronous expansion

X4 boards replicate line-driver pulse and direction signals for multiple motors that must follow the same motion profile.

03

Simulate before cutting

Preview tools, coordinates, diameter, polar or Cartesian references and motion order before production begins.

02 Control profiles

Built for the process,
not just the axes.

Five focused modules cover the original page subjects: multi-head motion, expansion, bangle simulation, tool systems and controller integration.

03 Operator workflow

From jewelry geometry to verified motion

Keep machine configuration, tools and workpiece diameter aligned through simulation and production.

01

Configure the mechanics

Define active axis groups, expansion modules, limits, reference modes and machine I/O.

02

Load the design

Import the prepared job, choose polar or Cartesian coordinates and enter the workpiece diameter.

03

Select and simulate

Assign the active tool, verify the complete path and inspect coordinates and clearances.

04

Reference and produce

Home the machine, establish zeros and run with live status, feed override and recovery controls.

04 System architecture

Software to motion.
Motion to process.

A complete control stack connects the operator interface to coordinated axes, machine services and the safety layer.

05 Engineering principles

Specify around the machine.

Final performance is established during engineering and commissioning. Radonix configures the controller around the real mechanics, drives, tooling, process equipment and safety system.

Up to ~12 physical motor channels

Scale grouped motion for demanding multi-head jewelry-machine architectures.

1-to-4 expansion

Replicate an axis command through X4 when multiple motors require identical synchronized motion.

Jewelry-specific HMI

Simulate diameter, reference mode, active tools and rotary toolpaths before execution.

Software-defined setup

Activate and configure machine axes through the interface instead of relying on custom operator macros.

06 Technical FAQ

Questions before specification.

Need a machine-specific answer?Talk to a Radonix engineer →
01How many axes can a Radonix jewelry system control?

Radonix Smart and PC-Pro LAN controllers provide up to six independent, interpolated axes. X4 boards can distribute one axis's pulse/direction command to multiple motors, allowing around 12 physical motor channels in a jewellery machine depending on its X, Y, Z and C motor-group configuration. X4 does not add independent interpolated axes.

02What does the Radonix X4 Expander do?

X4 replicates one axis pulse-and-direction command into as many as four line-driver outputs so multiple drives can follow the same motion profile synchronously.

03What is BangleMaster used for?

BangleMaster provides a jewelry-focused interface for ring and bangle jobs, including polar or Cartesian references, diameter settings, active tools, coordinates, jogging and toolpath simulation.

04Can the platform integrate tool changers and scanners?

Yes. Depending on the machine, the control can map rotary or linear tool stations, tool sensors, reference profiles and optional scanner inputs into the operating workflow.
