Radonix Lego is a fully modular CNC control system comprising a Control Unit (Lego-CU), 2-Axis Modules (Lego-XM), and Configurable Digital I/O Modules (Lego-DM). Instantly add or remove axes and I/O to match your exact needs—never pay for unused capacity.

Modules & Key Features

1. Axis Modules (Lego-XM)

  • Per module: 2 independent motion axes
  • Maximum: 8 modules ⇒ 16 total axes
  • LED indicators: “Status” + “Step/Dir” per axis
  • Installation: Slide onto DIN-rail, auto-addressing over the backplane

2. Control Unit (Lego-CU)

  • Role: Coordinates all modules and provides Ethernet/TCP-IP link to PC
  • Power & bus: 18–30 V supply, DIN-rail bus for data and hot-swap detection

3. Digital I/O Modules (Lego-DM)

    • Standard Configuration: 8 opto-isolated inputs (X0…X7) + 8 switchable outputs (Y0…Y7)
    • Maximum: 8 modules ⇒ 64 inputs / 64 outputs
    • Flexible Assignment: firmware-configurable pin-to-pin I/O mapping, active-high/low selection, debounce (1–50 ms)
    • Protection: short-circuit current limiting with automatic reset
    • LEDs: per-channel status indicators + overall health LED
